Other prominent buildings in Plaza Cardenal Belluga, known as Cathedral Square, include the colorful 18th-century Episcopal Palace and the Town Hall with its controversial modern extension built in 1999 by the Spanish architect Rafael Moneo.
Your next stop is at the Casino of Murcia, which is not a gambling hall, but one of the most emblematic buildings in the city. Located on Trapería Street, it exhibits a blend of the main artistic influences that coexisted during the second half of the 19th century and the early 20th century.
